COMPARE:
Seamless.AI or ZoomInfo for B2B contact data
Seamless.AI against ZoomInfo for getting contact data for a sales team, with the same seven questions asked of each and neither one flattered. Mamba Labs builds Apify actors. People Finder is ours, it is the third column, and it does not win most of these rows.

If you only read one part
Seamless.AI is the cheaper way in, sold on credits with a free tier. ZoomInfo is the enterprise database with the deeper coverage and the bigger contract. A small team usually starts on the first and a large one usually ends on the second.
Dimension by dimension
| Seamless.AI | ZoomInfo | People Finder | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it actually does | Searches for contacts by company, title and location and returns emails and phone numbers it finds at the time of the search. | Gives a sales team a searchable database of companies and people, with intent signals layered on top. | Takes a domain and a role filter and returns named people with verified work emails. |
| Coverage and hit rate | Broad North American coverage with direct dials, thinner outside it, and accuracy that varies by seniority. | The deepest United States coverage of any database here, including direct dials at scale. | As many people per company as the public record supports, rather than one lookup at a time. |
| What it costs | Per seat on credits, with a free tier of a few credits and the paid tiers sold on annual terms. | An annual contract negotiated per seat, with export credits capped inside it. There is no self serve tier. | Cents per returned person, and an empty company is not billed as a result. |
| How it fits a workflow | A web app and a Chrome extension, with CRM pushes to Salesforce and HubSpot on the paid tiers. | Native CRM sync, a browser extension, and a data share that writes into a warehouse. | One call per company from Clay or from a script, and the rows come back ready to send to. |
| Where the data comes from | Researched at search time from public sources rather than read from a fixed database. | A licensed and contributed database, refreshed by a research team and by user contribution. | The public web and the company's own pages, with verification run before the row is returned. |
| What it takes to set up | An hour. Sign up, install the extension, start searching. | Weeks. There is a sales cycle, a contract and an onboarding before anyone searches anything. | Pass a domain and the roles you want. There is nothing else to configure. |
| Where it stops | Data quality swings by market, and the annual contract is the thing buyers most often say they regret. | You cannot try it, you cannot leave it mid term, and the seat count is what you are really buying. | It works from a company. Handed a single name with no company it has nothing to search. |
The same seven questions are asked on every compare page here, in this order, so two of these pages can be read against each other.
What each is actually better at
- Seamless.AI wins on what it costs, what it takes to set up. A contact search engine that finds emails and direct dials in real time, sold on credits.
- ZoomInfo wins on coverage and hit rate, where the data comes from. The enterprise contact database, sold on an annual contract with a seat count.
- People Finder wins on how it fits a workflow. Finds the people at a company and verifies their addresses in the same run.
- Nobody wins on what it actually does, where it stops. Seamless.AI and ZoomInfo give the same answer on those, and we are not going to invent a difference.
Both products
What we would actually do
A two or three person sales team should try Seamless.AI first, because the free credits show you the hit rate on your own market before you sign anything. ZoomInfo earns its price when a large team searches all day, needs intent data and org charts, and wants it all synced to the CRM. Read the renewal terms on both, because annual auto renewal is the complaint buyers raise about each. Check the data on twenty accounts you already know before you commit to either.
