COMPARE:
Bookyourdata or ZoomInfo for buying a contact list
Bookyourdata and ZoomInfo both do buying a list of contacts for one campaign, and this page puts them on the same seven questions. Mamba Labs builds Apify actors. People Finder is ours, it is the third column, and it does not win most of these rows.

The verdict
Bookyourdata sells you a verified file today, priced per contact, with no contract. ZoomInfo sells a seat on a database for a year. One campaign wants the file. A sales team wants the seat.
Side by side
| Bookyourdata | ZoomInfo | People Finder | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it actually does | Sells a B2B contact list you build with filters and buy outright, verified at the moment you download it. | Gives a sales team a searchable database of companies and people, with intent signals layered on top. | Takes a domain and a role filter and returns named people with verified work emails. |
| Coverage and hit rate | A large global database with direct dials, filtered by title, industry, location, company size and technology. | The deepest United States coverage of any database here, including direct dials at scale. | As many people per company as the public record supports, rather than one lookup at a time. |
| What it costs | Per contact, bought as prepaid credits with no subscription and no seat, and a bounce is credited back. | An annual contract negotiated per seat, with export credits capped inside it. There is no self serve tier. | Cents per returned person, and an empty company is not billed as a result. |
| How it fits a workflow | Build the list in the web app, preview the count, download the file, and load it wherever you send from. | Native CRM sync, a browser extension, and a data share that writes into a warehouse. | One call per company from Clay or from a script, and the rows come back ready to send to. |
| Where the data comes from | A compiled database, re verified in real time as you download so the file is current on the day. | A licensed and contributed database, refreshed by a research team and by user contribution. | The public web and the company's own pages, with verification run before the row is returned. |
| What it takes to set up | Minutes. Filter, check the count, pay, download. | Weeks. There is a sales cycle, a contract and an onboarding before anyone searches anything. | Pass a domain and the roles you want. There is nothing else to configure. |
| Where it stops | It is a file, not a system. Nothing refreshes after the download and there is no CRM sync. | You cannot try it, you cannot leave it mid term, and the seat count is what you are really buying. | It works from a company. Handed a single name with no company it has nothing to search. |
The same seven questions are asked on every compare page here, in this order, so two of these pages can be read against each other.
Who wins what
- Bookyourdata wins on what it costs, what it takes to set up. B2B contact lists you filter, pay for once and download, with every email verified on the way out.
- ZoomInfo wins on coverage and hit rate, where the data comes from. The enterprise contact database, sold on an annual contract with a seat count.
- People Finder wins on how it fits a workflow. Finds the people at a company and verifies their addresses in the same run.
- Nobody wins on what it actually does, where it stops. Bookyourdata and ZoomInfo give the same answer on those, and we are not going to invent a difference.
Both products
What is best for you
If the question is one list for one campaign, Bookyourdata is the honest buy. You pay for the rows you take, the emails are verified as you download, and there is nobody to negotiate with. ZoomInfo earns its contract when a team of reps searches every day, needs direct dials at scale, and wants the data to land in the CRM without a spreadsheet in between. The trap with a bought file is that it ages from the day you download it. Send within a month, or verify again before you do.
