COMPARE:
Salesflare or Pipedrive for a small team CRM
Salesflare against Pipedrive for running a sales pipeline for a small team, with the same seven questions asked of each and neither one flattered. Mamba Labs builds Apify actors, and neither of these is one of them, so there is no third column on this page.
The short answer
Pipedrive is the pipeline CRM more people have used, with a bigger marketplace behind it. Salesflare is the one that fills itself in from your email and calendar so the reps stop lying about data entry. The team that will not do data entry should take Salesflare.
Side by side
| Salesflare | Pipedrive | |
|---|---|---|
| What it actually does | Tracks deals and keeps the contact record current from your mailbox, calendar and phone without manual entry. | Tracks deals through a pipeline, with activities against each one, and reports on the movement. |
| Coverage and hit rate | Deals, contacts, email and calendar sync, email tracking and a reminder when a deal goes quiet. | Deals, contacts, activities and forecasting, with marketing and support as add ons rather than hubs. |
| What it costs | Per seat per month in three tiers, with the email finding credits gated to the higher ones. | Per seat per month in tiers, and the tiers are closer together than the larger platforms. |
| How it fits a workflow | It watches the mailbox and writes the record itself, which is the reason to pick it. | A clean API, a decent marketplace, and automation that a sales manager can configure alone. |
| Where the data comes from | Your own mailbox, calendar and phone, plus a light enrichment pass on the company. | Your own records. It sells no database of its own. |
| What it takes to set up | An hour. Connect the mailbox and it starts building the record from history. | A day to a working pipeline, because there is less to decide before you start. |
| Where it stops | Small team software. Territory rules, quotas and a complex forecast are not what it is for. | It is a sales CRM. Marketing, service and content are somebody else's product here. |
The same seven questions are asked on every compare page here, in this order, so two of these pages can be read against each other.
Where each one genuinely wins
- Salesflare wins on coverage and hit rate, where the data comes from, what it takes to set up. A CRM whose whole pitch is that you do not have to fill it in.
- Pipedrive wins on what it actually does, what it costs. A sales CRM that stays a sales CRM, priced per seat.
- Nobody wins on how it fits a workflow, where it stops. Salesflare and Pipedrive give the same answer on those, and we are not going to invent a difference.
Both products
What we would actually do
If your reps update the CRM, Pipedrive is the safer choice: more integrations, more people who know it, and a pricing ladder that goes further. If they do not, and most small teams do not, Salesflare's automatic capture is worth more than any feature list because the data is actually there. It is smaller and the marketplace is thinner. Both run a pipeline well. Pick on whether your CRM problem is features or discipline.
