- v0 wins on what it costs, where it stops. Vercel's generator for React interfaces, aimed at the component rather than the app.
- Nobody wins on what it actually does, how it fits a workflow, where the data comes from. Lovable and v0 give the same answer on those, and we are not going to invent a difference.
Both products
What we would actually do
A team with an existing React app wants v0, because components paste in and nothing else has to change. Somebody starting from nothing wants Lovable, because the database, the auth and the deploy are the parts that take the time and v0 does none of them. The output quality on the front end is close enough that it is not the deciding factor. What decides it is whether the answer needs to be a whole application or a screen inside one.
