COMPARE:
DataHawk or Helium 10 for an Amazon brand
DataHawk against Helium 10 for running and reporting on a brand that sells on Amazon, with the same seven questions asked of each and neither one flattered. Mamba Labs builds Apify actors. We have nothing of our own in this category, so this page is two products and no pitch.

The short answer
Helium 10 is the seller's toolkit for finding products, writing listings and running the account day to day. DataHawk is the reporting layer for a brand team that already sells and has to explain the numbers.
Dimension by dimension
| DataHawk | Helium 10 | |
|---|---|---|
| What it actually does | Pulls Amazon and Walmart sales, ads, rank and inventory data into dashboards and daily alerts for a brand. | Finds products and keywords to sell on Amazon, optimizes the listing and tracks what happens after launch. |
| Coverage and hit rate | Seller Central, Vendor Central and Walmart data together, with ad, keyword and product level reporting. | Product and keyword research, listing tools, rank tracking, ads management and refund tooling, Amazon first. |
| What it costs | Per month on plans sized by the brand and the data volume, with enterprise pricing on request. | Per month by plan, with the research tools in the lower tiers and the operations tools in the higher ones. |
| How it fits a workflow | Dashboards and alerts for the team, plus data exports for a business intelligence tool. | A browser extension and a web app a single seller works in daily. |
| Where the data comes from | Your own marketplace accounts, connected by authorization, plus its own keyword and rank tracking. | Its own marketplace estimates and keyword data, plus your connected seller account. |
| What it takes to set up | Connecting the accounts is quick. Getting history loaded and dashboards agreed with the team takes a few weeks. | An hour to install the extension and connect the account, then you learn the tools as you need them. |
| Where it stops | It reports on a business that is already selling. Product research for a first launch is not its job. | The reporting is built for a seller, not for a brand team presenting to a board. |
The same seven questions are asked on every compare page here, in this order, so two of these pages can be read against each other.
What each is actually better at
- DataHawk wins on coverage and hit rate, how it fits a workflow. Marketplace analytics for brands selling on Amazon and Walmart, built for reporting to a team.
- Helium 10 wins on what it actually does, what it costs, what it takes to set up. An Amazon seller toolkit for product research, keywords, listings and day to day operations.
- Nobody wins on where the data comes from, where it stops. DataHawk and Helium 10 give the same answer on those, and we are not going to invent a difference.
Both products
The honest answer
Ask who reads the output. A founder or a small team that is still choosing products and fixing listings gets more from Helium 10, and the research tools alone justify it. A brand with Amazon and Walmart revenue, an ads budget and someone asking for a weekly report gets more from DataHawk. Its dashboards and alerts answer the questions a manager asks. Plenty of brands run both, with Helium 10 for operations and DataHawk for reporting. If you only buy one, buy for the bottleneck you have this quarter.
