USE CASE:

The situation
YouTube creators frustrate audience vetting, for a reason specific to them. YouTube creators build audiences through search, so a video from three years ago can still bring in viewers every day, and audience vetting inherits that. Know this about YouTube creators before any audience vetting: subscriber counts are historical while views are current, and deals get priced on the wrong one. We keep 1 preconfigured task for audience vetting on YouTube creators, across 1 tool.
Why anyone bothers
The gap between followers and recent views on YouTube creators is the honest number, and almost nobody writes it down.
Traditional Search Tools
- The channel's recent uploads, for YouTube creators. Free, and average views on the last ten videos are the number to price on.
- HypeAuditor. Audience quality scores and fake follower estimates per account, with demographic splits. The most cited tool for this check, priced per report or per month.
- Social Blade. Free history of follower and view counts on the main platforms. It shows a suspicious jump clearly and says nothing about who the audience is.
- Asking for native analytics. A screenshot of the creator's own dashboard is the only source of real demographic data. Ask for it every time, and expect a few to decline.
- Read the last twelve posts. Open the profile, note views, likes and comments on the last twelve posts, and divide by the follower count. Ten minutes per creator, and it catches most bought audiences.
