USE CASE:
Telling what kind of business a company is from its site
This page is about telling what kind of business a company is from its site: what your options are for business models, what each costs, and the one we would use. We are Mamba Labs, we build Apify actors, and Website Phrase Business Model Classifier is ours for business models.

The problem
A list bought by industry code mixes manufacturers with the distributors that resell them, agencies with the software they use, and B2C shops with B2B suppliers. Selling to the wrong half wastes every touch. The company's own site usually says what it is, in its own words, if somebody reads it.
Traditional Search Tools
- Industry codes from a data vendor. SIC and NAICS come with most firmographic data. They describe how a company registered years ago, not what it sells today.
- An AI column in a spreadsheet. Fast and cheap. Without the quoted text as evidence you cannot audit the answer, and a confident wrong tag looks the same as a right one.
- Open the homepage and the about page. Read two pages per company and tag it. People are good at this and it takes about a minute a row, which is why a five thousand row list never gets done.
Mamba Labs Apify Actors
These are the actors we built for this job. If yours is not covered here, search from the bar at the top of the page or contact us here and tell us what you need.
