The problem

Governments publish every contract they intend to buy, and the notices are free to read. They are spread across national portals with different code systems, and the good ones close within weeks. A supplier who checks once a month sees the deadline after it passed. The work is watching the right portals for the right codes, every day.

Traditional Search Tools

  • Tender aggregators. Tenders Direct, Tussell and similar merge notices and add bid support. Subscriptions start in the hundreds per year and climb with coverage.
  • Bid consultants. They find and write bids for you. Worth it for a large contract, and expensive as a way to discover what is out there.
  • Saved searches on each portal. Register on each national portal and set an alert for your codes and keywords. Free, and every portal has its own alert format. Reading them all is a daily chore.
