Fitness creators: the honest take on sponsorship scouting

The situation

Fitness creators complicate sponsorship scouting, for a reason specific to them. Fitness creators sell transformation, so their audience trusts results they can see on camera, which shapes sponsorship scouting. Worth knowing about fitness creators, since sponsorship scouting inherits it: supplement and fitness product claims carry health rules, and creators get them wrong often. We keep 1 preconfigured task for sponsorship scouting on fitness creators, across 1 tool.

Traditional Search Tools

• Gym and supplement brand ambassador programs, for fitness creators. Public, and they show who the industry already backs.
• Modash. A large searchable creator database across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with audience filters. Strong discovery, sold on a monthly subscription that suits a team running campaigns every month.
• TikTok One and the other platform marketplaces. Official, free to browse, and limited to creators who opted in. The ones who did not sign up are invisible there.
• An influencer agency. They bring a roster and the relationships, and charge a retainer or a share of the fee. Worth it for a launch, expensive as a standing way to find people.
• Search the platforms yourself. Type the niche into TikTok, Instagram and YouTube search, open every profile that looks right, and copy the handle and follower count into a sheet. About three minutes a creator, and the results depend on what each app decides to show you.
