Beauty creators: sponsorship scouting without the guesswork

The situation

Beauty creators complicate sponsorship scouting, for a reason specific to them. Beauty creators run the most mature sponsorship market of any niche, with rate cards and agencies on most accounts, and sponsorship scouting has to work around it. On beauty creators, sponsorship scouting rarely catches this: the visible accounts are heavily booked, and the rates reflect every brand asking at once. We keep 1 preconfigured task for sponsorship scouting on beauty creators, across 1 tool.

Traditional Search Tools

• Brand gifting programs, for beauty creators. Free to watch, and who a rival gifts tells you who they rate.
• Modash. A large searchable creator database across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with audience filters. Strong discovery, sold on a monthly subscription that suits a team running campaigns every month.
• TikTok One and the other platform marketplaces. Official, free to browse, and limited to creators who opted in. The ones who did not sign up are invisible there.
• An influencer agency. They bring a roster and the relationships, and charge a retainer or a share of the fee. Worth it for a launch, expensive as a standing way to find people.
• Search the platforms yourself. Type the niche into TikTok, Instagram and YouTube search, open every profile that looks right, and copy the handle and follower count into a sheet. About three minutes a creator, and the results depend on what each app decides to show you.
