Beauty creators and the contact sourcing problem

The situation

Beauty creators and contact sourcing: one at a time is fine, and a list of them is not. Beauty creators run the most mature sponsorship market of any niche, with rate cards and agencies on most accounts, which shapes contact sourcing. On beauty creators, contact sourcing rarely catches this: the visible accounts are heavily booked, and the rates reflect every brand asking at once. We keep 1 preconfigured task for contact sourcing on beauty creators, across 1 tool.

Traditional Search Tools

• Brand gifting programs, for beauty creators. Free to watch, and who a rival gifts tells you who they rate.
• Modash. Discovery and contact data in one subscription for the large platforms. Strong on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and the export is the end of its job.
• Upfluence. Discovery, outreach and campaign management in one platform with an ecommerce slant. Priced for a brand running a standing program rather than one list.
• A virtual assistant. Cheap per hour and good at the clicking. Quality varies, and the list is as good as the brief and the spot checks.
• Assemble it in a spreadsheet. Find the creators, copy each profile's numbers, follow every bio to a contact, and paste it all into one sheet. Ten minutes or more per creator once contact hunting is included.

How we would run it

1. Start with one of beauty creators you already know, so a wrong contact sourcing answer is obvious rather than plausible.
2. Run Influencer Lead List Builder across your list of beauty creators, which carries 1 ready made setup for contact sourcing.
3. Read ten rows of contact sourcing on beauty creators by hand before you trust the rest of the list.
