What is actually going wrong

Buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers which tool to use. If your brand is not named, you are not on the shortlist, and no analytics report will tell you. The answers change by question and by model. Measuring it means asking the same buyer questions across engines, repeatedly, and recording who gets named and cited.

  • SEO suites adding AI tracking. Semrush and others now report AI Overview presence. Coverage of the chat assistants is thinner.
