Designs email discovery waterfalls across providers with cost and quality logic.
Needs an Apify token (usage billed to your Apify account); Python 3; one of Findymail API key, Prospeo API key or Icypeas API key. Optional: one of Reoon API key or BounceBan API key; a Clay workspace.
- Apify account and API token (APIFY_TOKEN) (required). Runs the live data actors. Cost: A free Apify account works. Each run bills your own Apify account at the actor's Store price: email-waterfall-orchestrator 0.003 USD per contact searched and 0.02 USD per email found.
- Python 3 with root certificates (required). The direct actor script `scripts/apify-run.py`. Cost: Free. On a python.org install on macOS, run `Install Certificates.command` once, or the script falls back to the system certificate file and says so if it cannot.
- One of: Findymail API key, Prospeo API key or Icypeas API key (required). At least one finder key for the test run; the waterfall drops any provider with no key. Cost: Billed by that provider on your own plan. This skill adds no markup.
- One of: Reoon API key or BounceBan API key (optional). Verifying each address a finder returns. Cost: Billed by that provider on your own plan. This skill adds no markup.
- A Clay workspace (optional). Only if the waterfall is built as Clay columns. Cost: Billed by Clay in credits on your own plan.

A waterfall is a budget decision disguised as a data decision. This skill designs provider waterfalls for email discovery: provider order by cost and hit rate, verification steps, catch all policy, and when to stop spending on a row. It runs against a production waterfall orchestration actor and encodes the provider behaviors that documentation does not mention. Output is a waterfall spec with projected cost per verified email.
